Brisbane Festival 2018

A friend of mine suggested we catch up on Saturday night in at Southbank. Brisbane Festival was on. What a great idea that was.

And a great opportunity to take a few videos of the night showing the free entertainment available at the festival.

Might I just say some things can't be unseen.

Night Riding Brisbane

Brisbane prides itself on being a river city. So it comes as no surprise it's a fantastic ride along the river at night when the city is lit up in light.

He's a little clip I've made of a recent ride showing some highlights.

Sunday Mornings in Brisbane Preparing for the next trip

So nearly every Sunday friends and I go out for a ride. In part because we want to keep healthy. We also found cycling is the best way to get out and enjoy the city. And it's a perfect excuse to go have breakfast and coffee.

Anyway I've just bought a new toy in preparation for my next trip overseas coming up. A GoPro! Yes very exciting. So to get a bit of practise using the GoPro, and then editing footage into a video I took a video of one of our regular Sunday rides.

For those watching from overseas yes this is Brisbane. Brisbane is blue skies and many kilometres of cycle and walking paths along the river. Yes I'm talk no big hills cycling. It's a spectacular ride. And well Brisbane does great outdoor breakfast cafe dining if I do say so myself.

Colour Me Brisbane

It's always good to be a tourist in your hometown.

I recently spent some nights checking out the "Colour Me Brisbane" festival in the lead up to the the G20.

Spectacular use of some of the more ornate buildings of the city centre.
