Chad hits Lake Louise

Well here I am at the peak of the snow hills, Lake Louise. I've been skiing a few of the runs here today. What a great way to lead upto xmas.

News is that I will be in backwater Canada for Xmas. Working the ski hill I suspect that day. Then the plan is for a huge Xmas dinner. Some of the chefs are preparing a huge meal for us. should be good.

Anyway gotta run.

Everyone enjoy xmas. have a great time.

Yep.. I'm nowhere... it's official. But they do have snow here.

Hey

Yeah, yeah, long time no hear. Well the good news I've been able to borrow someone's laptop. One of my flatmates has gotten the new wireless network accessed before me. I'm waiting on the ski patrollers to pick up their act and get a new router before I am given a login. For the moment this systems just cuts in and out whenever.

Basically the news is I'm still here in Kananaskis. Working at the Nakiska Ski Resort. The things we do really for a ski pass. I'm shovelling and pushing snow off a deck, and cleaning out rubbish bins for 8 hours a day at the misery rate of $9 an hour. But there are benefits. I've got a ski pass to heaps of mountains, and soon they reckon I get a skidoo to drive around. Woo Hoo!

Finally got the reminder of why I'm here today. Skied my first run since arriving over 2 weeks ago. The resort only opened on the weekend.

I'm missing my access to the world. Sorry I haven't been able to conact anyone. But we have 1 bus that leaves here a day to either Banff or Calgary. And 2 shopping shuttles run by the Nakiska people to Canmore a week. It's a sad sad day when the exciting part of my life is going on a shopping shuttle to Safeway supermarket. What have I been reduced to!

I'll attach photos shortly.
